Dr Rashmi Chakraborty is a private child and adolescent psychiatrist in Oxford, with expertise in diagnosing and treating a range of mental health problems, including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), chronic motor and vocal tics disorder (Tourette’s syndrome), Bipolar Disorder and School Refusal.

About Dr Chakraborty
Dr Rashmi Chakraborty is a skilled child and adolescent psychiatrist who provides a personalised, evidence-based service to her patients. She has practising privileges with Priory Wellbeing Centre Southampton and provides video consultations to Priory patients. She also has a private clinic in Headington, Oxford, where she can provide face to face consultations.
With over three decades of medical experience, Dr Chakraborty graduated as a doctor in India in 1992 before moving to England in 1998 to do her psychiatry training. After qualifying as a psychiatrist in Sheffield in 2004, she specialised as a child and adolescent psychiatrist in Oxford, completing her training in 2011.
Dr Chakraborty spent eight years as a consultant in the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, where she was the clinical lead for the Buckinghamshire Neurodevelopmental Pathway. She now works solely in the Independent Sector, offering her expertise to children and young people in need of mental health care.
In addition to her extensive experience in the field, Dr Chakraborty continually engages in CPD activities to enhance her knowledge and improve her practice. Dr Chakraborty is committed to providing high-quality, ethical care and seeks feedback from her patients, their families, and colleagues to further her learning and growth as a psychiatrist.
